ANU Press comprises a small but dedicated team, working from Menzies Library on The Australian National University’s Acton campus. Its core staff are supported by the ANU Press Advisory Committee and the discipline-specific Editorial Boards.

Staff

Gabrielė – Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Press’ production schedule, ensuring quality control, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including authors, editors, freelancers and editorial boards.

Elouise – Publishing Industry Liaison Officer

The Publishing Industry Liaison Officer works with authors to help promote their books in the lead up to publication and assist with book launches, book reviews, interviews and other promotional activity following publication. Teresa – Design/Publishing Officer

The Design/Publishing Officer is responsible for designing the cover and layout of all titles. This position takes the books from their raw format into the multiple accessible formats produced by ANU Press. The Design/Publishing Officer also maintains the website.

Sarah – Production Editor

The Production Editor assesses all newly submitted manuscripts. This position ensures the quality of all ANU Press manuscripts and performs vital checks on titles prior to final publication to ensure they meet ANU Press’ high standards.

Helen – Publishing Assistant

The Publishing Assistant provides administrative support to the ANU Press team. This position also maintains the Press’ relationship with its main hardcopy distributor, Ingram/Lightning Source, and with individual and wholesale customers.
