Launch: Rosalie Gascoigne: A Catalogue Raisonné

Join author Martin Gascoigne with National Gallery Director Nick Mitzevich in conversation about the art and life of Rosalie Gascoigne to officially launch Rosalie Gascoigne: A Catalogue Raisonné.

More than 20 years in the making, Rosalie Gascoigne: A Catalogue Raisonné includes biographical and introductory essays focussing on the origins and evolution of Gascoigne’s art, a detailed chronology of her life as a new migrant, mother and later, artist, and comprehensive information on her exhibitions. It draws heavily on archival documentation including letters to her family, transcripts of her talks and interviews and previously unpublished photographs to present a detailed account of one of Australia’s most important 20th-century artists.
